What Is Medical Negligence?
If you have suffered an injury whilst receiving treatment under the care of a medical practitioner, such as a doctor, surgeon, dentist etc., you may be the victim of medical negligence (also known as medical malpractice). You may be entitled to receive compensation for such injuries.
A medical negligence claim should be initiated as soon as possible. A claim must be made within two years from the date that you became aware of your injury – whether that’s the day you received the negligent treatment or many years later.
Baxter Mimnagh Solicitors is known for being a caring and considerate medical injury law firm, and our specialist solicitors go that extra mile to make sure the interests of our clients are prioritised at every stage of the claims process.
Some of the most common medical negligence claims are:
Accident and emergency injuries
Acquired brain injuries
Birth injuries
Cancer misdiagnosis
Clinical negligence
Cosmetic/plastic surgery errors
Defective medical products
Dental negligence
GP malpractice
Hospital acquired infections
Medication/prescription errors

Had Fiona and her team represent us in a very time sensitive medical negligence case, Fiona was an absolute pleasure to work with nothing was too big of an ask.
